Homogenization procedures for coupled thermo-chemo-mechanical problems

Motivation

Damage of fiber-matrix interface in a composite material whether during manufacturing process or by being subjected to thermal shock.

Goal of the project

- Investigating thermo-chemo-mechanical coupled processes at micro scale in order to understand processes of continuum damage mechanics.

- Especially, modeling these processes at macro scale for engineering purposes.

- The related equations and procedures have to be developed and implemented in a finite element software system.
