Hendrik Geisler has been awarded the Manfred Hirschvogel Prize 2025 for his outstanding doctoral thesis. Since 2013, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation has been awarding this prize to the best dissertations of the past year.
The prize is awarded annually to doctoral students in the fields of mechanical engineering and economics at all TU9 universities.

In his award-winning dissertation, Hendrik Geisler developed a new, efficient method for uncertainty quantification in engineering simulations.
This was an important contribution to the research area of Time-separated Stochastic Mechanics at our institute, for which Hendrik Geisler is currently active as group leader.
