  • 2007. Leonardo da Vinci studentship, granted by the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme.
  • 2014. Two-year post-doctoral research fellowship, granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
  • 2015. Best-Poster Presentation (1st Prize) titled Homogenization methods for the multiscale constitutive description of soft connective tissues (joint-work with P. Wriggers) at the V Annual Meeting of the Italian Chapter of the European Society of Biomechanics. 
  • 2015. Elected as President of the Italian Chapter of the European Society of Biomechanics.
  • 2019. Prize AIMETA Junior for Mechanics of Solids and Structures (Italian Association of Applied and Theoretical Mechanics)
