DFG grants continuing funds for SFB/TR 73

The german research funding organisation (DFG) decided to continue funding the special research program "transregional collaborative research centre (TR) 73" with the title "Manufacturing of complex functional components with variants by using a new sheet metal forming process - Sheet-Bulk Metal Forming" for the next four years. In this program researchers from IKM have already been collaborating with different specialists from Erlangen and Dortmund on the simulation of metal forming processes for the past eight years.
